Exchange XRP (XRP) instantly, no KYC

XRP settles in seconds. The one thing to get right is the destination tag — needed when you receive into an exchange account, not into your own wallet.

What to know about XRP

XRP is the native asset of the XRP Ledger, built for fast settlement — a transaction confirms in a few seconds. Deposits to exchanges and custodial wallets usually require a destination tag in addition to the address.

  1. 01

Know whether you need a destination tag

Exchanges and custodial wallets share one XRP address among all their users and tell deposits apart with a destination tag — a number you must include. A wallet you control needs none.

  2. 02

A missing tag is the exchange’s problem to fix

Omit the tag on a deposit to an exchange and the XRP reaches the exchange but is not credited to you. Recovery is then up to that exchange’s support.

  3. 03

    New addresses need a reserve

An XRP Ledger account must hold a small reserve before it becomes active. A payout smaller than that reserve into a never-used address will fail — receive into an activated address.

  4. 04

    Three to five seconds

That is how long the ledger takes to settle a transaction.

FAQ

XRP swaps, in short

Using it

What is the minimum XRP swap?

On XRP → BTC it is 3.357 XRP right now. The desk sets it live for every pair, and it moves with the network fee of the receiving chain — below it, that fee would eat the swap. The module always prints the minimum of the pair you have selected.

Which XRP networks can I use?

2 of them: XRP Ledger, BEP20. They are not interchangeable — the payout network must be the one your wallet or platform uses. The table above gives the address format of each.

Do I need a memo or destination tag?

Only when you receive into a shared address — typically an exchange account, which gives you a memo or tag along with the address. A wallet you control does not need one. If the deposit side needs a memo, the order page shows it next to the deposit address. How memos and tags work.

Money & privacy

Can I lock the rate on a XRP swap?

Yes, whenever the other side of the pair supports it too — pick Fixed in the module. The rate is locked when the exchange is created and a countdown starts for your deposit. Fixed or floating: how to choose.

What does a XRP swap cost?

Two things come out of a swap: the network fees of the two blockchains involved, and our margin, which is already inside the rate. Both are included in every price on this page — nothing is added after you confirm. Swapping small costs proportionally more, because network fees are fixed amounts.

Do I need an account or ID to swap XRP?

No. There is no account to create and we never ask for identity documents, at any amount. The one case where a swap can be held is spelled out in the AML policy rather than hidden — and explained in plain words on the no-KYC page.
